UP-UP Dark Espresso is a special dark chocolate Single Estate 50% cacao content made with fine flavour cocoa beans from a single farm called "El Rosario" located in the Necocli region on the north-eastern coast of Colombia; this bar is characterised because of the distinctive cacao notes with the perfect balance between sweetness and bitter tones, with well-defined notes of roasted coffee beans that complement hints of caramel, making this bar a unique experience awakening the senses with every bite.

Four years ago we realised that while there are brilliant brands working towards a child labour-free chocolate industry, they weren’t using cocoa that was truly certified as child labour-free. And we don’t mean self certified. We mean certified, rigorously, by a totally independent third party. So we set out to find one.
Slavefreetrade was set up in 2018 by Brian Iselin, a former soldier and federal agent, with extensive background in conducting counter- trafficking and modern slavery operations worldwide.
